“Before joining the Roots & Shoots club, I never thought of myself as someone who could protect the environment. Now I lead weekly sessions for 40 students and they look to me for guidance. This program gave me not just knowledge it gave me identity.”

“The Evergreen sessions changed how my students relate to each other and to nature. I saw children who rarely spoke in class become confident leaders during outdoor activities. The impact goes far beyond what any textbook could achieve.”

“Visiting the Ellen DeGeneres Campus with 136 of our students was a turning point. Watching young people connect with gorillas and understand why their protection matters that is the kind of learning that lasts a lifetime.”
