Roots & Shoots Rwanda was honoured to witness the impact of the Templeton Roots & Shoots Youth Prizes, recognizing 30 incredible young leaders from 26 countries making a difference for people, animals, and the environment.
The Templeton Roots & Shoots Youth Prizes celebrate young people aged 13–25 who are taking action on the issues they care most about. The prizes recognize:
Dr. Jane Goodall always believed that young people are among the most compassionate and creative change-makers our world has ever seen. The Templeton Youth Prizes are proof of that belief — 30 extraordinary young leaders from 26 countries, each taking meaningful action in their communities.
Roots & Shoots Rwanda is proud to be part of this global network, connecting Rwandan youth to a worldwide movement of young people driving positive change. Our club members draw inspiration from these award-winning projects and are encouraged to develop their own initiatives.
