Roots & Shoots Rwanda Joins REMA for World Environment Day Celebration

Roots & Shoots Rwanda was honored to participate in the World Environment Day celebration organized by the Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA), bringing forward the voice of young people in Rwanda's environmental movement.

This celebration was an important opportunity to stand together with partners, institutions, and environmental actors who are working toward a greener and more resilient Rwanda. For Roots & Shoots Rwanda, the event was more than a national celebration; it was a reminder that youth have a central role to play in protecting nature, restoring ecosystems, and inspiring communities to take action.

Through our programs, we continue to empower young people to care for people, animals, and the environment. Participating in World Environment Day strengthened our commitment to build a generation of compassionate environmental leaders who understand that every action matters.
