Roots & Shoots Rwanda continued its mission of growing young environmental leaders through a school-based garden and tree-planting activity.
During this initiative, students were not only involved in planting trees, but also took part in conversations about sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the importance of caring for nature. The activity helped students understand that planting is not just about putting trees or crops in the soil; it is about building a mindset of care, patience, and responsibility.
By participating directly, students learned that they can be part of the solution to environmental challenges. Each tree planted and each discussion held helped strengthen their confidence as future leaders for the environment.
Roots & Shoots Rwanda will continue supporting schools with practical environmental education that turns learning into action.
