KIGALI, 24 April 2025 Celebrating the joy of reading and the beauty of our planet! 🌍📚
On 24 April 2025 at Africa Leadership University (ALU), Roots & Shoots Rwanda hosted exciting activities in honor of International Children's Book Day and Earth Day.
Children engaged in a series of meaningful activities designed to connect a love for books with a love for our planet:
Books have the power to inspire. When children read stories about nature, animals, and environmental champions, they develop empathy and a sense of responsibility for the world around them. Today's young readers are tomorrow's conservation leaders.
Through events like this, Roots & Shoots Rwanda is nurturing future leaders who value both knowledge and care for our Earth — because an educated, environmentally aware generation is our greatest hope for a sustainable future.
Together, we are nurturing future leaders who value knowledge and care for our Earth! 🌍📚
