Mentorship Big Day at University of Rwanda – CAFF

Roots & Shoots Rwanda participated in the Mentorship Big Day organized by the Department of Eco-Tourism and Green Space Management (EGM) at the University of Rwanda's College of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Sciences (CAFF).

What Happened

Inspiring Youth to Act

Roots & Shoots Rwanda inspired students to take simple, positive actions at the individual level — emphasizing that small changes, when multiplied across many individuals, can create significant and lasting impact for people, animals, and the environment.

Tree Planting for Climate Action

As part of the day's activities, Roots & Shoots Rwanda participated in tree planting to support climate change mitigation and environmental conservation, reinforcing that every action counts.

Certificate of Appreciation

In recognition of the organization's meaningful contribution to mentoring EGM students and inspiring career development, the Legal Representative of Roots & Shoots Rwanda, Dr. Clémence Idukunda, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the university.
